Fabulously light and contemporary, luxury barn conversions. With high open beamed ceilings in the living areas and bedrooms, fresh white decor and colourful furnishings and accessories, these Cornish self catering cottages have a definite wow factor. Both sleeps 2 cottages and huge gable end windows to give you the opportunity to experience the most amazing sunrises and sunsets.
And new to Downs Barn, is our newly converted three bedroom cottage for 6, with a fabulous conservatory looking to the sea and providing wonderful views. Seascape lives up to its name with sea views at any time of the year from the comfort of your cottage!
You have a real feeling of privacy here, surrounded by fields and farmland with lots of glass to admire the lovely rural views and glimpses of sparkling blue sea in the distance. While spacious light and airy, the fully tiled rooms have underfloor heating to keep them warm and cosy whatever the season.

The large open plan living spaces exude luxury with super comfy leather chaise sofas, contemporary kitchens with all the latest appliances and a romantic dining area for two. Throw open the triple glass doors and bring the outside in. Perfect on a warm summer’s day, dine al fresco on the large south facing patios with those gorgeous views all around you.
The spacious bedrooms have really comfortable super king beds with wonderfully soft 100% white cotton bed linen. Add to that feeling of indulgence with your luxury bathroom, a deep double ended bath, a large walk in drench shower and soft fluffy towels.

Inclusive Facilities and Services
Electricity, underfloor central heating, solar heated hot water, 100% cotton bedlinen, towels and tea towels. Please note beach towels are not provided.
Eco friendly cleaning products are provided (washing-up liquid, laundry liquid, dishwasher tablets and other cleaning products).
You will be welcomed with a delicious homemade Cornish Cream Tea and some basic food items including milk, tea, coffee and sugar just to get you started.
Additional information
Arrival/departure day is Friday. Arrival time is from 3.30pm and we ask that you please vacate the property on your departure day by 10.30am. The cottages are available to non–smokers only. We regret no pets or children under fourteen years of age.
